Boston, MA- August 5, 2010 - CHAOS University Retreat will take place in Boston at the Boston Harbor Hotel complex on October 18th and 19th, 2010. This year's event will focus on "How to Coach an Executive Sponsor". This is part of an overall program for a limited number of members and benefactors that includes:

Executive Sponsor Appraisal: is an online assessment that tests the best practices of executive sponsors.

How to be a Good Executive Sponsor: is a report developed by The Standish Group that outlines the 50 best practices of executive sponsor.

WebEx presentation: is a special review of the compiled results of the executive sponsors appraisal as compared to the index.

Executive Workshop: is where the benefactor representative will participate in developing techniques to be used to effectively coach executive sponsors.

How to Coach Executive Sponsors: is a report on the results of our workshops and other events related to the subject, such as follow-on surveys and interviews.

The retreat will have 10 working sessions that highlight the success factors for being a good executive sponsor. "Participants in the event will develop techniques to identify the most urgent ineffectiveness and to successfully coach executive sponsors to improve." said Jim Crear, CIO, The Standish Group "In the workgroup we will also consider the hurdles and how to overcome these hurdles."
